Sage Space: Week 1 - Healthy Aging Tips:

Keep moving

Recent studies, like one from The Journal of Aging and Health, tell us there is a real magic in moving. Keeping active every day does wonders for your body by keeping those muscles strong and your heart happy, but it is also a boon for your brain and mood. No need to go overboard on the pickleball court - daily activities like grocery shopping, gardening, walking the dog and even chasing the grandkids provide significant benefits over time!

Grab the water bottle

Don’t underestimate the importance of staying hydrated. Carrying your favorite water bottle around is a commitment to optimal body function. As we age, our thirst sense diminishes, making conscious drinking more important. Water also helps flush toxins from the body, which can contribute to a stronger immune system. Ditch the fancy packages, it’s the least expensive and most effective health care product on the market!
